Window

Visualize and train the start line of your shot

Place parallel markers on the edge of the practice area or mat to create a "window" that you want to start your ball on. As an added bonus to ensure that you are set up correctly, place another parallel line along your feet as you take your stance.

As you get more and more comfortable, make your window smaller to challenge yourself! This drill was made popular as Jack Nicklaus' favorite visual cue.

To really challenge yourself, make your window small and place the ball just behind. This gives a great visual cue, as well as shows if your club path is to exaggerated in either direction.
